I wanted to update my foliage’s shaders to the Two Sided Foilage shading model, but I’m not sure how to use it. I was wondering if anyone could give me an example of how to use this properly for things such as grass. At the very least, I’d like to get rid of the glowing grass effect.
Okay, I actually think I know what the issue is which may not be my shaders (Glowing foliage effect). I am using this day and night cycle -
And the sun is shining through the underside of the landscape once its turned on causing the foliage to glow. I tested this and at nighttime when the sun is off, the foliage isn’t glowing so I need to figure out how where the setting that controls the sun is and how to configure it or if there’s a setting on the landscape to not allow light to shine through it.
First off, I would remove the emissive color. That’s not going to make things look any better.
Just looking at it, I can’t see any issues. Maybe plug the normal map directly into the normal input and see? I am not sure why the author of the Nature Pack setup a normal flip green switch when you can do that to the texture directly in the texture window…
