Twinmotion to UEFN

Hi, has anyone tried to transfer scenes from Twinmotion, via UE5 to UEFN?
I have a problem with Rendertexture _RT materials.
They can’t be removed because they have some functions assigned and after removing them all materials turn grey. It’s probably something related to dynamic materials. I was inspired by this material: https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/spotlights/taking-archviz-from-twinmotion-to-uefn-via-unreal-engine

Thanks

Hi Wizual,

I think the path forward here would be surgically removing the Twinmotion material nodes.

Another approach could be creating new simple materials and applying those to the meshes.

If you want to share some images of the material graph or the material .uasset, I’d be willing to advise on how to remove rendertexture features without breaking the material.

@astrotronic thank you for your answer

I am also pasting a screen with the balls I am talking about and the path is visible so I think these are materials related to dynamic materials.

which exact file or folder with .uasset files could be shared. It is worth using this help and learning how to develop in the future.

I am also attaching the graph material where the problem is.

However, this can be done in ue because uefn does not allow editing and viewing the reference viewer

Thanks for the extra info, I just see an images of your content browser and reference viewer. (You mentioned you’d also send the material graph?)

Seeing how many advanced materials comes with twin-motion, creating a new simple material for your meshes in UEFN will definitely be easiest.

If you’re still trying to modify the Twinmotion Material, figure out which one of those shown in the reference viewer is on your mesh and modify that one (could involve snipping out the bit about dynamic water effects since the RTs are named Drips and Ripples)
