Summary
My workflow is straightforward: I export a Datasmith file from Archicad and import it into Twinmotion. The initial import works correctly without any issues.
However, after closing the Twinmotion project and reopening it, if I make changes in Archicad and attempt to update or reimport the Datasmith file, Twinmotion immediately crashes.
This behavior is fully reproducible. The only workaround I have found is to delete the Archicad Datasmith import from the Twinmotion scene and import it again from scratch. Unfortunately, this forces me to reapply all Twinmotion materials and adjustments every time, which is extremely time-consuming and defeats the purpose of a live or iterative workflow between Archicad and Twinmotion.
For a professional workflow where architectural models are constantly updated, this issue significantly disrupts productivity and reliability.
At this point, the only reason I am still using Twinmotion is because of the time invested in my custom asset library. Otherwise, I would seriously consider moving my visualization workflow to D5 Render or another alternative.
Could you please confirm whether this is a known issue with Twinmotion 2025.2 and whether a fix is planned? Any guidance or workaround that preserves materials during updates would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Additional Notes
If it wasn’t for my custom library I would be going to D5.
