Tutorial: Making a Procedural Landscape Material

I wrote up a bit of a tutorial on making a procedural landscape material, figured someone might be interested in it:

I don’t have much to say about your tutorial as I know most of what you did, but I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed Starhawk.

Also, I truly understand why your coworker was cursing World Machine. It’s absolutely phenomenal software but I honestly want to shoot myself every time I go to make a terrain. And one last thing, if you like procedural materials, there is a procedural material toolkit on the marketplace that is absolutely insane. I haven’t seen anything quite like it.

I’m stupid, what exactly is this switch doing (in the UV node) when it’s on true. I usually use the landscape coord and multiple each texture for a different tiling, basically what you are doing in the false statement.

It’s just a switch to alternate between standard landscape UV coords and relative UV coords.
