Turn off Cast Shadows on specific Foliage?

I can’t find an option to turn off to “Cast Shadows” on some specific foliage objects.
Does anybody know how to do that?

My foliage still shows shadows? Any thoughts why?

Is my understanding incorrect?

That it can still remain active despite CAST SHADOW being disabled?

EDIT: I checked and still the issue persists. Strange.
