Trying to Replicate Environment Changes on Client (Door Doesn’t Replicate)


I followed an old post on interacting with doors and drawers in a similar way to how it’s done in Amnesia. The outcome was great and exactly what I was after, but when trying to replicate it I can’t for the life of me get it to work.

The only difference from mine and the original is that I have the input in the event graph.

The server can interact with the door and drawer, and everyone sees the changes. When a client interacts with them, only the client sees the changes.


I’ve attempted to research and fix this myself, but I’m stumped as to what should be going where and feel like I’m missing something really simple. Some help would be much appreciated.


RPC the server to open/close.

On client interact → RPC server → call event/function on actor.
