you can do this on low settings. all you need to do is set ssr.quality to 3 to get the ssr “roughness mip chain” generated, i guess. and you gotta raise the ppv ssr quality above 60%.

no loop holes. atleast in 5.5.2. dunno older versions. and it’s a pretty bad substitute for lumen or baked gi.
