Trouble accessing Fortnite Creative STAR WARS content

Summary

Cannot access Fortnite Creative STAR WARS content. When going to create an island, it prompts to ‘review terms’. When following through, it goes to the Star Wars Brand Rules page. There aren’t any prompts to accept terms or anything, and when exiting back to the island creation screen, it still says to review terms. Upon restarting, nothing changes.

This is an extract from the Fortnite rules document obtained by

Google “epic Fortnite UEFN branding acceptance Fortnite creator portal”

To get UEFN branding accepted in the Fortnite Creator Portal, creators must enroll in the Fortnite Developer Program, sign the IP Partner Licensing Agreement, and ensure their island passes moderation, complying with specific brand rules. The portal is the central hub for managing presence, submitting projects, accessing analytics, and setting up payouts via Hyperwallet.

Key Steps for UEFN Branding Acceptance:

  • Enrollment: Sign in to the Fortnite Creator Portal with your Epic Games account and complete the application.

  • Program Requirements: You must be a member of the Developer Program and accept all legal terms, including those for branded content.

  • Branded Templates: Select authorized branded templates within UEFN or Creative to gain access to exclusive assets.

  • Publishing & Moderation: Submit your project through the “Projects” section, where it will undergo moderation for compliance with brand rules.

  • Duration: Once approved and published, a brand island must remain in that state for at least 30 days.

  • Content Rules: Adhere strictly to branding guidelines, which include using high-quality thumbnails, avoiding prohibited overlays, and ensuring all created content complies with legal requirements.

Common Pitfalls:

  • Misleading Marketing: Avoid using arrows, text labels, or references to currency in thumbnails.

  • IP Violations: Ensure all content adheres to intellectual property rules; the portal requires identifying and giving credit for licensed assets.

  • Inactive Payout: Ensure the Hyperwallet account is fully activated to avoid delays.
