Triangle count range for a scene in UE4?

What should be the range of tris count of a high detailed scene? Not the most it could take but the range I should aim for to keep everything running smoothly

Which platform and what type of game are you making? You should be more worried about the shader complexity and lighting than poly count, btw.

PC and aiming to go on ps4 too but im concerned about mid range performance pcs because i detail my envirements with lots of misc props to give atmosphere and im afraid it might be too much, I got around 200,000 tris/ 100,000 polys in one scene.

Im making a puzzle horror fps

Shaders and lighting im not too sure yet, I’ve been modeling everything in maya and havent put it in ue4 yet.
