Transparent (Masked) textures turn white at a distance.

I had this issue going on for a while now, and I don’t really mind it in a text environment, but if someone could explain what causes it, or how to disable it, or if it’s just normal, I’d appreciate it. The example I’m giving is of a fern bush. Close up, the texture looks great, but when I walk/fly a small distance away, it turns white. I though it may be reflections, so I changed my texture roughness to 1.0 and it made no difference. Thanks for your time. Here are a couple pictures:
