I followed the tutorial at the below link and applied the material instance to both a plane and a cube. I then placed a movable spotlight to shine thru each object but the light remained the same color passing thru the objects. The material instance color had the transparency amount ticket and set to around 75% (didn’t matter what I used here though) and I tried different colors for the material just for reference but the light color shining thru the plane or sphere never changed.
I’m using dynamic lighting as well in 4.26 and the link shows 4.25 but as all things Epic there is no forwarding on updates to their docs.
How is it possible to have a light source passing thru a translucent object to portray the light as it should based on the color and translucency of the object using dynamic lighting?
Thanx,
MZ
