Translucent materials with UMG


There seems to be a problem with drawing translucent materials using a HUD blueprint. If the material is Opaque or Masked, it works. If the material is Translucent, nothing gets rendered to the screen.

The question the AH doesn’t provide enough information to diagnose the problem. I’m unable to reproduce the issue.

My problem is drawing translucent materials in a HUD blueprint. Indeed, drawing a texture with the Draw Texture node works.
