Hey there, I am on unreal engine verison 5.7 and I have a issue that has been incredibly difficult to resolve for me and I’m pretty newbie at post processing. I have created a cel shaded post process using the BaseColor Scene texture, I also tried diffuse, but these both seem to create an issue where my translucent fog cards using either additive or translucentgreytransmittance disapear after about 100m of distance, which in my scene is actually incredibly close.
The fog cards are not actually getting culled, without the post process enabled, the fog cards persist as expected, this is only happening when I am using the base colour of the scene.
I have also tried changing the blendable location of the post process which is currently BeforeDOF but it doesnt seem to fix it.
All I really want to achieve is to create fog cards that would not be affected by the post process if possible, or be rendered after the post process. And even custom depth seems to have the exact same issue where my fog cards disapear after the same distance.
Has anyone had this issue or knows how to fix it? I’d really apreciate some help!
