Im looking for a way for translucency to cast and be affected by shadows as it seems impossible at the moment.
I haven’t tried, but in the material try setting it’s translucency settings dropdown to Forward Render (It’s normally on volumetric non-directional).
That setting works wonders and allows for a lot of opaque features on translucency.
Thats already what its set to.
Make sure you turn on cast translucent shadows in material domain and for affect translucent lighting in light source. If you dont look for fancy self-shadowing translucency you can use a hacky solution as hidden dublicated geometry that will have cast hidden shadows enabled
