Translation files causing Violation of Rules, Possible Ban

Summary

The Localized text is causing automatic failure in project submission. I simply edited the Spanish localization file (.po extension) to correct the translation since UEFN automatic translation failed to do so. Why this is a Violation of the Rules?

Additional Notes

Please explain how to fix this.

Now my UEFN project has this disclaimer “Your assets violate Epic Content Guideliness”, even after “Exporting Localization” again. Please help!

Should I delete the translated text file, and auto translate again? But then why I cannot make my own translation? I’m bilingual.

I just deleted the entire “Localization” folder, used the auto-translation tool from scratch, not a single file was modified outside UEFN, and still getting the same error “A text file is violating the terms of service.” What gives?

That is because manual translations are not allowed

After disputing back and forth with Epic and getting my project completely banned and almost loosing my account, the issue was caused by the automatic translation of the Arabic language.

Somehow the translation triggered alerts on Epic automatic flagging system, suggesting sexual and violent themes.

The only texts on the game are countdown messages on the lobby, if that is sexual, well. I’m guilty.

Also there is a board message that says, “the Battle Royale Island will explode in X minutes”. Turns out “Explosion” is a very bad word in Arab. Not surprised.

The reported file was the localization text in Arabic. Thank god I didn’t loose my account, but I lost three months of hard work.

For anyone that comes across this post, be very careful with automatic translations in Arabic. They are very strict in terms of language.

UEFN’s automatic translation tool is so new, that it can get you get banned.
