Trace on Landscape Spline Mesh

My question is in the same line as those two that didn’t get any answer so I hope I’ll get one!

I have a landscape with a spline that I want to trace on it but not having the pawn standing on it as it’s water so I want to trace the spline mesh (water) but I can’t find a way to change the collision setting as a static mesh to ignore the pawn.

I got that bug as well SplineMeshComponent collision not working at runtime? - World Creation - Unreal Engine Forums but it’s fixed in 4.12!
