Hello guys im trying to export 30 fps 600x1200 video with pathtracer on and medium refinement. I recently upgraded from a 3060TI to a 3090TI mated with my overclocked 3900x (steady 4.3 ghz 12 cores 24 threads) 64gb ram (3200 hz, dual channel). How is it possible to have worse times with a 3090ti? Took 14hours to render a 30sec video with my 3060ti (same settings) and now my render times for a 10sec video are 22 hours. Everything is set to performance and all graphic settings are tweaked to use the maximum of my 3090ti. I can confirm that I see slower export times to identical renders too (1 minute for my old 3060ti and 5 minutes for my new 3090ti). Anyone else has same issues as me? My new card performs better in everything else but the exports times are killing me, I basically upgraded gpu to save time and power yet this is not the case.
Hi ,
That definitely is strange. I don't know of any particular issues that might exist for the 3090Ti that would cause slow render times, so this would require further investigation. The first thing I would check, however, is just to make sure your graphics drivers are up to date.
If you could submit a bug report here, we can take a closer look at what might be going wrong. Please be sure to attach a copy of your computer's DxDiag, your Twinmotion.log files (Where to find Twinmotion .log file) after an export, and while not necessary it would be helpful if you could also include a sample Twinmotion project you exported from to use as a reference. Additionally, a DxDiag and log files from the computer with the 3060Ti would also be helpful, but not necessary.

Raghib
Hello Raghib,
My drivers are update as of now (526.98). Before I continue with providing DxDiag could you please give a rough estimate of render times with path tracer on for a 3090ti (4K static picture, 4K video render).
With version 2023.1 i'm experiencing very slow rendering times compared to 2022.2.3.
I have a GTX1080 and previously a one minute video at 1080 25 fps took about an hour to render, but now a video with the same lenght is taking 24 hours!!!
Thanks for letting me know.
I don't believe we have specific benchmark tests for the 3090Ti. The closest I can come up with quickly are for the 3080 10GB, using the Lakehouse retreat demo scene.
When importing a 4K PT static image (in particular imagePT1) it should take about 30 seconds, and a 4K PT video about 20 seconds long (the video titled Path Tracer) should take about 3 hours. For those specific media, I would expect your 3090Ti to have decently shorter export times. You can try opening the Lakehouse retreat demo on your end and exporting those yourself to see if that holds true, assuming you have no other GPU intensive programs running at the same time. If those exports are longer, then I recommend submitting a bug report with your DxDiag and log files.
Best,
Raghib
Hello again! Ill try those scenes out asap and i will send you the requested files, after that i will format and retry.
Best Regards,
Aris
-Update
Demo Scene: Lakehouse retreat
4K Static Image (image1): 21sec
4K Pathtracer Video: 2h 20min.
So there is something in my .skp file that is messing with my render times?
My settings when im rendering my videos:
.SKP Size 300M
.TM Size 670 MB
Skydome On
PT ON
Resolution +-2K
Video Length: +-10sec
Estimated Time: 11hours?
is anybody going to help me? Like i am waiting here for 5 days straight
Apologies for the delay due to Thanksgiving in the US.
Thanks for sharing these test results and submitting a bug report. You should have received a response to your bug report recently.
Best,
Raghib
Ohh had no clue that it was thanksgiving, my mistake. Bad timing. I format my pc recently so im going to try again rendering tomorrow.
Hi ,
Performance degradation issues between Twinmotion 2022.2.3. and Twinmotion 2023.1 Preview 1 are currently being investigated, with the plan being to release a fix in the next update.
Best,
