Too much foam on water

I have used the WaterBodyOcean and added the FluidSim Actor to the scene. It does create foam but there is more foam than water. How can I make the foam less dense, please?

HI HWNeve, You can reduce the foam density by adjusting the Foam Generation parameters in the FluidSim Actor and the Water Material itself.

Adjust FluidSim Actor Settings:

Select the FluidSim Actor in your scene.
In the Details Panel, find the Foam Settings section.
Tweak the following parameters:

-Foam Intensity: Lower this value to reduce the overall foam density.
-Foam Threshold: Increase this value to make the foam generation more selective, appearing only where the simulation deems necessary.
-Foam Fade Distance: Increase this value to make foam disappear faster at longer distances.

Modify the Water Material Settings (If Using Custom Material):

Open your Water Material Instance if you are using one.
Look for **Foam Generation nodes or parameters.
Adjust:
Foam Opacity: Reduce this value if the foam appears too bright or too prominent.
Density Multiplier: Lowering this value will reduce the amount of foam generated.

Thank you.

Alas, BP_FluidSim doesn’t appear to have those properties when I search/browse for them:

Water_Material_Ocean has some:

Weirdly, when I saved the project and re-opened it, Fluid Sim was greyed-out.

I am now scratching my head, wonderng what’s going on.
