Time of Day Clouds/Horizon brightness

Still having an issue w/ my clouds/horizon being too bright at night, trying to reference them in my time of day level blueprint following this tutorial but I can’t get the clouds and horizon color to get darker at night. Any tips on how I should go about doing this?

Take a look to this:

Hope this helps. Cheers

iparra, that does work but only if you want a permanent night time scene. I can’t find a blueprint that can change the environment intensity or cloud opacity levels. I’m happy to be mistaken though as that would greatly help me too!

You do it by turning off ‘Colours Determined By Sun Position’, and then setting the colours manually. You can drive the colour changes through a curve asset, or through a timeline, or even a mix of both!

I tried this, but the changes don’t stay once you play test it. I did it manually and through a timeline, and in the editor the cloud colors change, but once I hit play the default colors are there and they stay there.

I’ll give this a go after work, thanks for the link!

Haven’t been able to watch the vid yet, as I’m at work, but would it be possible to just pull the cloud textures into the blueprint, and then edit their brightness variable based on either the day/night switch or on a timeline? I tried dragging and dropping textures into the blueprint last night but that didn’t do anything.
