So I just started to get Landscape Materials to work, I was hoping someone could help me understand how to do one up with better quality. The way things currently turned out is very tiled and flat, the Normal maps have very little affect. Is there a Technique to make things more natural.
Probably what you are looking for is this:
Change the texture when the camera is far to other bigger to don’t see the tiles ?
I looked at the post, the technique seems outdated, I imagine the process is quite simple nowadays on UE4. Mind running me through ti or just giving me a screen shot of what it should look like in the texture editor?
In the link the first screen you got and image about all nodes in the editor, no idea where you see the problem in one lerp with 2 textures. If you find a better solution then please post here.
*This is the same nodes but in UE4.
It may seem that way to you but for someone without a formal education or any real experience the similarities weren’t clear. I am also trying to piece this together not understanding how any of the damned functions work so the clarity of data really helps. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for the reply.
