Tigger Event on UI Menu

I have a menu that opens when the Vive controller points and clicks a wall via a Trace Channel on the Right Vive Controller’s Trigger. Works great. But Im not sure the best way to make the controller interact with the menu.

Should I have the Menu buttons create an Event Dispacher that is called by the Vive Controller’s blueprint? Or what is the best way to have the Vive Controller buttons behave as a click event based off the trace?

So far the approach has been to use work arounds(manually trigger buttons you intersect/etc), but with the VR editor branch there might be some way to generalize it, see https://github.com/EpicGames/UnrealEngine/blob/dev-vr-editor/Engine/Source/Editor/VREditor/VREditorUISystem.cpp

With the help of Mosel3y, I have it working. Thanks for the workaround tip also getnamo. Here is a link to our thread discussion - https://forums.unrealengine.com/showthread.php?104638-3D-Widget-Wont-Allow-Casting-for-Clicking
