The audacity to think one knows how the discovery category classification algorithm works.
How do you think 50 or 200 players make a difference in being trended? Have you considered the average playing time? The number of likes or favourites left on the map? The actual interaction of players in the map? The time the map played those players weighted by the global total of players available at that day and time? How many of the % were brought by a call to action and so being classified as “new players” from the epic enviroment? There are 2000 variables, put your mind at rest if it didn’t end up in a category it’s because the automated system judged that it shouldn’t end up there but don’t lose heart. There is no defeat in the heart of those who do not give up, just keep improving your maps

it’s good when you don’t know something … to not voice an opinion

We’re lucky then! I’ve quite some experience with trending maps discovery section
