The "Use Latest HUD" option breaks various features

Summary

The new HUD does not work properly with the following customisation:

  • Layout positioning does not affect the new HUD.
  • Minimap customisation in the Map Controller (eg changing shape/turning on and off lock axis) doesn’t work.
  • Custom HUD overrides (eg quickbar override) do not hide the original HUD elements. This can be problematic with Custom Items and Inventory enabled as its custom HUD shows on top of the regular quickbar HUD, so 2 inventories are shown at once.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Turn on “Use Latest HUD”
  • Turn on “Custom Items and Inventories”
  • Place down a HUD controller and attempt to reposition various HUD elements, such as the Map Controller
  • Place down a Map Controller and set the map shape to circle.

Expected Result

The HUD elements will be repositioned, the minimap will be a circle, and only the new quickbar will be shown.

Observed Result

The HUD will ignore any layout customisations made to it.
