I’m with you in that I’m more of a text guy than a video guy. I’ll mention to people submitting content that people have different preferences for how they get their tutorial content, and especially that tight editing of videos is a good thing. Ultimately it’s going to be up to them, but I’ll encourage them to ask the community which format they prefer to see what’s best for them. Thanks for the feedback!

I would love to offer more written documentation too, on top of all my video tutorials, but there is just no nice way at the moment to include written documentation in marketplace packages. Written documentation is much easier to maintain, you can easily just change or add a few sentences after an update, while for video tutorials you sometimes have to redo everything, like I did after the last update for my minimap.
And I’m generally someone who likes video documentation much more than written ones, I just have the feeling that watching a video is much less “brain work” compared to reading. Of course there is editing on the videos needed, you can’t publish tutorials where you yourself are making mistakes, that’s just annoying for the viewers. Though, I once called something green “blue” in one of my latest tutorials, but that’s fine I think
