Something I find particularly infuriating both as a marketplace creator and a customer, is how many vendors handle ‘support’ by making their customers beg in comments and reviews for discord access.
This clogs up the question sections which makes legitimate questions get lost in a flood of garbage, as well as it unnaturally bloats reviews by having a bunch of people give 5 stars along with their discord names and no actual critique of the product, as an obvious beg and placation as opposed to an actual review.
This problem seems to be completely ignored and even encouraged. It empowers bad developers with deceptive and greedy practices, and clutters up sales pages with useless garbage. This issue brings down the overall quality of the marketplace and makes it a laughable joke to anyone wishing to do legitimate and serious business.
The solution?
Make a specific tab only for support requests, or some direct way for a customer to request support from the marketplace interface itself, thus proving ownership.
