Summary
As of a few updates ago, the snowballs created by the Sneaky Snowman no longer work as intended. They have odd physics applied to them now, damaging the ground they’re dropped on and glitching around rather than remaining stationary as they should, and they explode instantly when thrown while moving. They are also incredibly laggy while midair, and do not follow their intended trajectory. There is also a 40 second recharge on the Sneaky Snowman rather than the intended 10-15ish seconds.
Steps to Reproduce
-Equip the Sneaky Snowman consumable.
-Throw the Sneaky Snowman on the ground in front of you.
-Hit the Sneaky Snowman with your pickaxe.
-Pick up and drop the snowball a few times, throw it, etc. as you normally would.
Expected Result
The Snowball should behave as intended, and the cooldown on the Sneaky Snowman should be the usual ~10-15ish seconds it was before.
Observed Result
The Sneaky Snowmen have a 40 second cooldown, and the snowballs do not work as intended. They have odd physics applied to them, damaging the ground they’re dropped on, and glitching around rather than remaining stationary as they should. They also collide with your player and explode immediately when thrown while moving, and throw in a buggy, unpredictable manner.
Platform(s)
All platforms.
Additional Notes
Here is a video link showing off these problems.
One thing that DOES finally work as intended as of this glitch appearing, however, is that snowballs can now create a chain reaction, exploding each other once again as they used to - this functionality broke years ago, and we’re all glad it’s back. They can also be pickaxed or shot to explode once again which is great.
It would be awesome if the aforementioned bugs could be fixed before the Winterfest creator callout. Thank you so much in advance for your time!
