The Shrine
My new experiment with lighting in UE5. I got the theme idea from a friend who sent me some Japanese environment inspiration so I decided to remake it.
This time I wanted to go for something foggy with a warm vibe, the lighting is fully dynamic with volumetric fog and god-rays using Lumen and used Nanite for the vegetation which allowed me to use high polys trees with no heavy effects on GPU( definitely an incredible lifesaver technology !). The shrine model is textured with substance, it’s a low poly model that I wanted to challenge myself to get the details of texture and not of actual mesh.
