The scene graph has stopped working, and sessions fail to launch with the latest scene graph changes; a "push changes" message appears in every session.

Summary

Even after modifying code and checking for bugs—which is unusual, given that everything worked normally prior to version 42.00—scene graph updates are not being applied to any island session. I spent nearly a full day trying to launch the session; I was stuck in an infinite loading loop, and after finally managing to open the game, the “push changes” message appears even though I haven’t touched anything. Devices, meshes, and other elements are updated and function correctly, but anything related to the scene graph seems to be out of sync with the changes and has stopped working.

Scene Graph

Steps to Reproduce

  • Open the Editor.
  • Pull the session.
  • Enter the session with all the latest scene graph changes saved.

Expected Result

  • The session should launch with all code changes and entity updates applied.

Observed Result

  • It appears to be stuck launching sessions based on an outdated version of the scene graph data.

Platform(s)

PC

Note that this also causes issues with the game itself; besides failing to launch—except after several attempts—it always takes a while to return to the lobby after finishing the first round.
