The Quest 2 Windows & Android Conumdrum

In two weeks I have yet to get a Windows built Android VR Demo to deploy to my Quest 2 Headset. A couple dozen YouTube videos, countless tutorials about why there’s no stable, bulletproof way to just build something for 4.27, 5.2 or 5.3 for the headset.

This morning, I plugged the headset into my Mac, fired up Unity, told it I had a Quest 2 Headset and deployed a demo to the Q2 without a bit of bother other than remembering my keystore password.

It makes ZERO sense I can’t get Unreal through the simple task of building an Android app without all these gyrations. I hate Android usually for this very reason, at least with Apple their dictatorial approach to iOS and Mac seems to work.
