The project folder has automatically placed itself within OneDrive and I can't find a way to move it out.

Summary

I have set up my new PC, installed UEFN and loaded it up to find that the project folder has synced to a folder backed up by OneDrive. UEFN itself even gives a warning that this could cause issues, yet I wasn’t prompted with a choice of where the project folder should go, and it wasn’t on OneDrive on my old PC.

As far as I can tell, it’s impossible to move it. OneDrive won’t let me copy it or cut and paste it outside of OneDrive as it gives error0x800701aa every time. UEFN shows an option to add more project folders but not move existing ones.

Steps to Reproduce

I downloaded UEFN on a new PC without manually copying any UEFN files over. When UEFN opened, every project’s file path was to a Fortnite Projects folder in the OneDrive section of my C: Drive. I was not presented with any choice of where this folder went, it was already there.

Expected Result

The Fortnite Projects folder should be in a normal folder on my C: Drive so OneDrive doesn’t interfere with it, as even UEFN gives a warning that it can cause issues.

Observed Result

The Fortnite Projects folder is under C: Drive - Users - (My Name) - OneDrive - Documents

Additional Notes

On top of the official warnings that it can screw up Revision Control, I’ve seen multiple people claim their maps became corrupted and unable to open after OneDrive interfered with them.

You can’t copy or move project files out of OneDrive but you can delete them. Then when UEFN loads again you’ll be able to change the folder location in the bottom left of the projects page for it to re-sync to.
