Sadly this still does not work after the 39.0 update ![]()
Please fix this issue, that’s a shame
Same issue here. Perfect prior the latest update 39.00 and over. The “do not close on button press” is NOT working as already shown, and in my experience, it is also render distance oriented sense it was working fine when all devices were close to each other, but broke completely if I had the button to activate the pop up dialog device out of render distance of the pop up dialog device.
Can confirm this is still broken. Activating Do Not Close On Click keeps the popup dialog open, but buttons do not do anything
FORT-989880 is ‘Closed’ as ‘Fixed’. The issue will be addressed in 39.20.
Still broken
Still broken
Can confirm that as of Jan 8, 2026, still not functioning.
Can you guys please revert whatever “fix” was applied last? It broke the device for good. I used to be able to at least re-show the widget after a button press, now not even that works..
we don’t have that issue here, is it only if you have that checkbox checked?
should have been fixed today? still doesn’t work for me..
Coming back to this. I’ve tried everything. This “works” only if you push changes, uncheck the box the check it again BEFORE going into Game Mode. Even then you can only press buttons a few times before it disappears. That being said, it does work correctly on the standard popup dialog. Its when its being used with custom widget buttons, the issue occurs. I’m pretty sure it’s something to do with the bindings as the default buttons in the popup dialog device work correctly with the option checked.
It’s not even possible to show the same popup dialog when clicking a button in it. This was the ONLY work around and now that is broken too.
Just add a Sleep(0.1) in the verse code before the command to re-open the widget on button press.. Fixed it for us..
Thanks, all. I’ll pass this along.
^ This. Cant re-show it now and “do not close on button press” simply doesnt work if you have multiple pop-up dialogue devices in the world that use that setting.
An update on this, it is still not working as intended (no verse). Checking the Do Not Close On Button Press option works UNTIL you push changes, then after pushing changes, the popup disappears as if it were unchecked.
EDIT: It is still not possible to re-show the same popup by clicking one of its buttons.
Hoping for an update on this setting for the popup. If the checkbox is checked, no verse will run for any button presses. I think this bug is in two locations on the forum but more or less the popup device needs at least 2 fixes and proper quality checking before claiming it’s fixed pls.
