The Ohm's Perch pet's animations are broken.

Summary

The Ohm’s Perch pet backbling has special animations when gliding and crouching, which work properly only from the start of a game up until your first landing, after which they will stop working as intended.

The pet will then stop reacting to you crouching or gliding, showcasing the same and more static animation (with the exception of deploying the Ohm glider, where the pet will detach from the back bling to appear as the glider, only to then teleport back to your back bling upon landing and back to displaying the same animation as before).

Steps to Reproduce

Equip the Ohm’s Perch pet.
Equip the Ohm glider.
Select Creative, load and join any map.

The Ohm’s Perch pet backbling will work properly until you land after gliding for the first time: after that, the animations will stop working as intended.

Expected Result

Upon landing after gliding for the first time, the pet should keep showcasing its special animations:

  • stay still when walking, running or sprinting;
  • rise and fall when jumping;
  • rise and look forward when crouching;
  • detach from the backbling and fly above you when gliding;
  • (when the Ohm glider is equipped) change from its flying animation to appear as the glider;
  • fly back to your backbling upon landing.

Observed Result

Once landed after gliding for the first time, it will display the same animation for the rest of the game. Therefore it will remain still when:

  • running;
  • sprinting;
  • crouching;
  • jumping;
  • gliding.

NOTE: the wrong animation it showcases now is the same animation it displays when you’re knocked down.

  • The issue appears in every single game mode.
  • Using specific items may reinstate the correct animations; getting rebooted reinstates the correct animations.
