I am starting on prototyping/playing with new game, style of my choice is some kind of 2.5D with pixel art.
To be honest I was inspired by The Last Night artistic approach:
One of most interesting part is related with, which actually I have no idea how was done, is related with yellow vehicle seen here:
Any ideas how work pipeline could work? It looks like 3D Model with cel shading material, additionally it is pixeleted, looks like pixels are scaled in time based on distance from camera? I can imagine, thah this could be achievable with post processing with some separation for object. Or is material itself? Or maybe it is sprite generated from 3D animation. Any suggestions?
