Thank you for your help.
I have placed a Cube in a newly created level and assigned a material to it, but I am having trouble because the color of the material is different from the color in the material preview.
If you look at the image, you can see the grayish road in the material preview.
In the level, the material is brownish.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Please let me know.
well… the floor is usually grey too and it is obviously not grey in your scene. that’s the color of your sun light or the skylight. that’s a normal color change and to be expected.
Thanks for the reply.
I understood that it is a normal change.
Are you saying that if I adjust the sun light I can get the color of the material preview?
I really want to make the roads gray.
Sorry, I am a beginner.
The skylight will have a large impact on the ambient lighting and color a material gets. The material preview is using an HDRI that has a lot of blue, you can set your skylight to use the same HDRI and have the same look.
yes. i you change the light color to grey or a semi blue sky tone it will make the road grey or semi blue. you can also use the skylight to tint your shadows a different color than the sun light that would be a directional lamp. ambient color design.
I fyou need a neutral lighing you can use the color chart shipped with unreal editor and with some
light temperature and some basic lighting knowledge will help you find a natural grade,
