Textures disappearing on instances

I import a mesh as a FBX. It shows correctly and I have attached the materials. Everything looks fine. But when instances are created of it (either by Blueprint of by Foliage Painter) it doesn’t have any textures anymore? I suspect it has something to do with the UVs, but I just can’t figure out what exactly is the issue.
Any suggestions?

Ok, I figured something out. When I set the destination Lightmap Index from 3 to 2 in the Build settings of the Mesh, it works. Don’t know why, but anyways.
