Textures are washed out in material editor unreal

landscape material looks like a wood became an ash after burnt by fire but original texture has colour.

Can somebody help me out why this is happening?

If you’re just plugging the texture directly into the material output like that, then your problem will be the lighting in the level ( don’t worry about the material preview for now ).

Typically an overly bright skylight would do this.

What are you light settings?
