
Hey! I’m new to Unreal and have just been learning about render targets. Above is a piece of something I’ve been working on. I have transparent moving objects being captured with a scene capture component 2D that only records these objects in their unlit form and nothing else.
I need to acquire a list of all the unique colors in a given render target. The number of colors isn’t going to exceed 20 at any point, but I need a dynamic method to record them since the objects are in motion. I need something far cheaper than what I have below, which reads every pixel one by one and only keeps unique colors.
Can anyone help me with this?
