Texture problem with Decals


I’m trying to create an actor (the sphere) with a decal component to create a hover effect. However I get a weird texture mapping (Left cube). If I use a DecalActor it works nicely.


Is this a bug or is it a normal behavior ? If it’s not a bug what have I done wrong ?

Have you tried rotating your decal component on the left by 90 degree around the Y-axis?
