So I’ve been experimenting with the best way to make a very “physical” landscape. Its my first time really working with this tool properly, but I’ve run into a bit of a snag. I decided to texture bomb the material I was using to avoid tiling, and it worked like a charm, but now the world displacement I had running of off my height map won’t work correctly. Either I don’t use the world displacement and tessellation, and my landscape is flat, or I plug in my height map (without texture bombing, with it gives me back an error: [SM5] Function Texture_Bombing: (Node DDy) Invalid node), and the height is there, but it is not correctly aligned with the texture since the texture have been rotated and mixed to avoid tiling artifacts through texture bombing. Am I missing something here? Pic of my current setup that isn’t working.
so hey…did you find the solution? cuz i have the same problem
any one found a solution for this?
