Sorry I had posted this query on the forums but I just thought perhaps more would see this here…( Strange pixelation in landscape on Nexus 5 - Mobile - Unreal Engine Forums ) Basically terrain textures are heavily pixelated on my Nexus 5. They look great in the mobile preview and the Editor on PC but there seems to be a glaring issue on my Nexus 5.
Any one else has noticed this ?
Maybe nexus downscales them to prevent a crash?
(sorry for a really lazy answer, but I try to get around in old questions so people wouldn’t be as… stuck. but mobile is def. not my best area :P)
This is solved. See forum for a solution where the UV calculations are done in the vertex shader instead of the pixel shader.
