i searched nearly everywhere in this forum but maybe i didn’t found the right solution of my big problem…
if you see the image, the temporal AA is really messing a lot of my archiviz ambient. I tried to pump up the light, the indirect light, the exposure, but no way, i still see jagged lines, shadows, and a lot of noise. The only way to get rid of that was to put FFAA but the result is not really good as you already know…
normally i don’t have this problem near the window, even if, the library in background has lines pretty jagged…i m sure i missing something with materials probably…
This is a WELL known issue that popped up for some reason in 4.9, they are aware of it but wont get fixed till 4.10 move back to 4.8 if its really bothering you. Also make sure your lighting quality is set to production or high and your settings to epic and your texture scaling to 100%
Hope this helps Don’t forget to accept an answer that best clears your question up or answers it so when the community finds your question in the future via search/google they know exactly what you did to fix it/get it going.
sorry but i guess that yes, 4.9 has a problem with temporal AA, but scene like koola’s lightroom, in 4.9 are less noisy than mine. So i guess i’m missing something on my settings…
