Teleporters no longer reliably respect the setting "face player in teleporter direction"

Summary

When using teleporters to force the player to face a particular direction when teleported, it’s not reliable anymore to do that. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. You can even see this in the Ballistics game mode built by Epic. At the end of the game, some players are facing away from the camera. This used to work and was the workaround as spawners don’t face players in the right direction either… Please fix both spawners and teleporters, but at least put back the functionality of the teleporters as that’s an actual checkbox.

Steps to Reproduce

Place a teleporter in the scene and set the setting “face player in teleporter direction” on, then teleport your player to it and sometimes it will face the player in the right direction and sometimes it won’t.

Expected Result

Should ALWAYS face the player in the direction of the teleporter.

Observed Result

Sometimes faces the player in the right direction

I’m getting this too. It took me a while to figure out it might be a bug because it started out working then failed later and I can’t get the player to face the right way after a teleport. I think it has something to do with the player being teleported via verse on spawn as opposed to running through the teleporter with the camera controls already registered but not sure. In my setup I have players spawning in area A facing one direction and if a player chooses a different spawn point on the opening game menu they will spawn facing backwards in the new area. I’m going to try having a spawn point in the new area facing the right direction and see if that can influence the teleporter in any way.
