I’m here to talk a little about my project. It’s my final project for my non-degree graduate course of mobile development. The aim of project is to show a seamless way to make a multiplayer game (even massive) running both on pc and mobile. I’m only a programmer, so the art part of project is not so good, but if the project goes on, I’m willing to ask help for an artist help. I’m now in the way to get photon server running with UE, so if someone already work on Photon Server, I’ll be glad for any feedback about the integration.
The project is a simple multiplayer action rpg, with a structure to be massive. The aim here is not to build a MMO, but propose new structures and workflows for a game with this port. I start with 3 different races and classes, and probably only basic functions of battle and npc interaction will be built. Also, as a master degree student in artificial intelligence, I’m planning to implement algorithms for AI in authoritative server way (running directly on server and not in client).
