SystemUpdateMode : EPSUM_FixedTime Does not seem to react as I would expect. 4.21
One scene with:
-Two Identical seeded effects, with one exception: In one of them the SystemUpdateMode is set to FixedTime, the other to RealTime.
-About 200 other effects meant to create a bunch of lag.
The framerate, (viewport options -> Show FPS) Shows a fluctuating frame update time of about 40ms
The two effects however play out identically.
I would expect to see the FixedTime effect deviate drastically when the actual frame rate differs too much from the Update Time FPS set inside of the System. Is my intuition about this wrong? Is the intended function of this different?
Is it perhaps possible to overwrite this setting globally?
