Sync bug causing data loss

Summary

Today just like every other day i hop on UEFN to work on my map (which isnt published btw), All of a sudden UEFN forces me to sync my maps before i can open any of them, so i press sync on the map im working on right now (my first map). Then im greeted with a completely new map which is basically the oldest version of my map, now since im quite new to UEFN in the past months i never checked in cuz i wasnt really sure what it was, so i dont have an version of my map before the bug. I honestly dont know what to do and cant find anyone else with this bug, i would really appreciate some help.

Hello Light, Welcome to the Forums.

I haven’t ever seen any ‘forced syncs’ so I’m not sure what that’s about.

Generally while you’re working you’ll want to click ‘Check-in Changes’ every now and then. (Think of it like save points that you can return to)

To see these checkins - Click on ‘Revision Control’ in the bottom right and open Snapshot History.

Assuming you just have that one ‘initial checkin’ I’m not aware of any way to revert your overwriting of the map/project.
