Switch device shows wrong state

Summary

Often, the Switch device will appear off when its on and on when its off. It fails to load its correct state. This is only a visual bug as it functions normally otherwise.
Frequency appears to increase when playing a map with many Switch devices.

Devices

Steps to Reproduce

1: Load into a map with many Switch Devices (Skybox: 4225-6009-1837).
2: Find a chest like in the video and interact with it.
3: Observe the Switch doesn’t change state visually.

  • Sometimes it changes state, sometimes is doesn’t (sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t).
4: Interract with chest again. Because the chest doesn’t give you anything the second time, it demonstrates that the switch is working and connected properly - its just the visuals that doesnt work.

Keep in mind that some times it DOES work, the Repro rate is unclear, perhaps around 50%.
Purchasing upgrades from bank or boat also has the same issue in this map and can therefore also be used for Repro

Expected Result

The Switch changes state from On to Off visually for chests when interracting.

Observed Result

The Switch sometimes changes state visually, sometimes it stays the same.

I’m also experiencing this issue
I’ve tried a few things like disabling auto-load and enabling it manually, It helped me in some cases (loading it when the player is nearby), but it seems to be a distance-related problem

I’d also like to add that sometimes I can’t interact with a Switch Device I move via Verse in my Tycoon (it moves 3,000 units upwards), but like the visual issue, this doesn’t always happen, which is strange

So that’s why I’m saying again that it’s probably a problem with the render distances or something like that

Furthermore, for in-island transactions, this issue can cause confusion among players because, in my case, I use Switch devices to visually show players whether or not they own an item, and if they have the visual problem, they will probably feel like they have been scammed. (while everything is working fine)

So I wouldn’t hesitate to say that it’s a major problem.

I feel this is a render issue as i have a switch with custom mesh ie green/red tick and it can be fine then throughout the game when i go away and go back itll be at the default off mesh even though its on very weird but initially on game start everything is fine its only as and when i go to new parts of the map abit like the switch is being streamed or something idk
