Using Swarm across a network requires that “File and Printer Sharing (Echo Request - ICMPv4-In)” in Windows Firewall for both inbound and outbound connections be enabled for Swarm Agents to properly ping and communicate with the Swarm Coordinator. However, since Windows 10 build 1809 Swarm Agents are no longer able to communicate with the Swarm Coordinator when these rules are enabled. The only solution I’ve found to completely disable Windows Firewall all together.
I’m hoping someone can shed light on what “service” or rule needs to be enabled in Windows Firewall to allow Swarm Agents to communicate properly with the Swarm Coordinator.
