Summary

When Swapping into a team with a Custom “Max Equipment Slots” option. Steps to Reproduce

  1. Set your IslandSettings Teams option to “Team Index” of 2 or Bigger (So that it will support players changing teams from a Class And Team Selector)
  2. Place a Team Settings And Inventory Device for Team 2 and Enable “Maximum Equipment Slots” and set it to anything from 0 to 4
  3. Place a Class And Team Selector and Set “Team To Switch to” to 2, and place another one that doesn’t change teams but rather into a random class (No Class Designer Needed just make sure its not the same as the starting Players class)
  4. Start a Game, you start with the default 5 equipment slots, afterwards enter the Class And Team Selector

Expected Result

When you switch to Team 2 your equipment slots should change to those specified in the team settings device

Observed Result

After Switching the equipment slots stay the same and will only switch to the correct ones after you switch into a new team/class

Hmmm, more votes needed…

FORT-834739 has been created and its status is ‘Unconfirmed’. This is now in a queue to be reproduced and confirmed.

I was having a play and found something similar Will try and get a vid when i have time. Basically when you have it set to say 3 slots max and you get eliminated it auto starts with 5 again but if you shoot your weapon it goes back to 3 like idk whats going on with that but yea

Makes it impossible to have a custom ui atm

Thank you, we’re taking a look.

I’m having the same issue, mine actually worked fine when editing game but was broke during playtest. My workaround during editing was to grant an item triggering the UI to update the max slots but then use item remover to take it away. This doesn’t work within my playtest though. The inventory respects the slots available, they just do not show on the UI
