support for iphone simulator on mac

I am aware this is still an ‘experimental feature’, but this is something I never got to work since it has been introduced. When the required settings have been enabled it failes to refresh the Xcode project, so we have to regenerate the project files. Btw. this also never worked like on Windows, where a simple click with right mouse button provides an easy access to the scripts - no, we have to do it manually via terminal.

So after the known folders have been deleted and project files regenerated I am no logner able to cook my project for IOS, cooking process fails with the following errors. I don’t know if some else is facing the same issues, my hope is still that I’m doing something wrong.
