Ok, I compiled for my game a version of Runeberg’s SteamVRInput plugin with rewritten generation of manifest and binding files. Maybe somebody find it useful.

Notes.
- Was tested only with Vive controllers and Knuckles.
- Trackpad of Vive Controllers is binded to “Motion Controller (R/L) Thumbstick” events, as well as joystick of Knuckles. Trackpad of Knuckles is binded to custom events “SteamVR Knuckles (L/R) Trackpad X/Y”.
- The plugin doesn’t generate input for Knuckles for Trackpad press/release
- some minor issues can presist
- plugin settings are in GameUserSettings.ini (should move it to Config/DefaultEngine.ini).
